The Infectious Disease Department at IMH Thonburi Hospital provides examination, diagnosis, and treatment for various types of infectious diseases, both acute and chronic. Services are delivered by a team of specialist infectious disease physicians, utilizing standardized, safe, and appropriate care guidelines for each patient, with the goal of controlling and reducing the spread of infection.

• Diagnosis and treatment of common infectious diseases such as influenza, dengue fever, and filariasis (elephantiasis).
• Diagnosis and management of patients with tuberculosis and lung infections.
• Diagnosis and treatment of viral hepatitis A, B, and C.
• Screening for and treatment of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) such as syphilis, gonorrhea, and herpes.
• Follow-up and care for HIV-infected individuals and those with compromised immune systems.
• Consultation and planning for the use of antiretroviral (ARV) medication and PrEP.
• Pre- and post-travel patient evaluation (Travel Medicine).
